  1. Prayers & Pampers

    Sunday, March 28, 2010

The girls of the Akridge Class and the Hollingsworth Class had a great time showering Kris with prayers & pampers in anticipation of Baby Kate's arrival.

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.
The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
    James 5:16

    Announcements
    • We were glad to have Gregg and Jennifer Michaelson in our class on Sunday.
    • There is alot going on this week...check the side column for "upcoming events."
    • Men's Bible Study this Tuesday will meet at Cracker Barrel, 6:00am.
    • Next week is Easter Sunday. Our class will be volunteering around the church during the Sunday School hour. We will be extra hands for the large number of visitors expected. Everyone needs to report to their team leader at 9:00am. For preschool, report to Ann McMillan; for greeters, to John Copham (in the Gathering Space/MIC, I presume); for cart drivers, to Cecil Medders (not sure where). We still need volunteers as ushers/greeters in The Venue and the "big house". Contact Clayton Speed claytons@fbctrussvill.org to sign up for additional vacancies.
    • The Easter Egg Hunt @ the Akridge's house is Saturday, April 3rd, 11:00am. If you have not already brought 2 dozen plastic eggs filled with non-chocolate candy, you can bring the to Brenda Tues or Wed night @ church. Remember to bring your family's picnic lunch, chairs, blankets, riding toys, etc., but we share chips, desserts, and drinks. Have your kids wear clothes they can get a little muddy! I will email directions to their house. Below is a reminder for what we signed up to bring...
