    Hope you all had a great Father's Day!
    Sunday we said "good-bye" to Scott Shirley. They will be moving Friday to Auburn.

    **Hope to see you Friday night for the Mexcian fiesta and putting the hygiene kits together at 6:00. Krista will be sending out an email about food sign-up.

    Prayer requests:
    --Scott Shirley: pray for peace & safety for Kelley's (& his) BIL Matt Aston who is in Afghanistan, for his wife Kacie & daughter Harper while Matt is away
    --Dore: for friend Mandy's comfort & peace in the death of her stepdad; Mandy's MIL is not well & she has the added stress of being in speech path school.
    --Vesla: pray for a successful procedure & speedy recovery for her uncle's mother who is not well
    --For each of us to "Be still and know that He is God" this week and to daily know & love God through His Word. Ask ourselves: "Do I spend more time on Facebook (or fill in that blank with anything that applies) than I do God's Book?"

    Prayer requests: 
    --Elizabeth: for a friend with medical issues
    --Brenda: continued prayers for my BIL Jim battling on-going side effects with his cancer treatments; for my cousin Carolyn to have minimum side effects during her breast cancer treatments; for God to
    choose to heal each of them this side of heaven
    --For our nation to return to its Christian heritage & return to God; that we Christians earnestly pray for our national leaders & for the upcoming November election
     --Shannon has his test on Thurs., as well as Krista's dad has his procedure on Thurs.
    Announcements:

    --Ministry Project--June 22, 6pm we will make hygiene kits of all the travel size samples we have been collecting. We will also enjoy a Mexican fiesta. You can sign up in class to bring a dish. Please remember to give Krista a $1 donation to help with the bags & kids crafts.
    --Girls' Night Out--second Thursday--June 14th--Meet us at the Olive Garden @ 6:30pm.

    --VBS Monday through Thursday, K4-6th grade.
    --Ministry Project--June 22, 6pm we will make hygiene kits of all the travel size samples we have been collecting.  We will also enjoy a Mexican fiesta.  You can sign up in class to bring a dish.  Please remember to give Krista a $1 donation to help with the bags & kids crafts.
    --Girls' Night Out--second Thursday--June 14th--Meet us at the Olive Garden @ 6:30pm.
    --Don't forget to sign up to take the O'Shields a meal on takethemameal.com and help welcome their new baby Jamison home.
    Prayer Requests:

    --Angela & Jennifer's Dad's recovery
    --Brady & Julie-Cooper is on 2nd antibiotic for "glue ears."  Waiting for check-up on the 25th to see if we need to go to ENT.  No tubes, please.
    --Krista--for Dad's arteriogram on next Thursday.  Pray for their trip safety and good health.
    --William--Uncle David Mills diagnosed with colen cancer.
    --Chris & Wendi Carson--house for sale
    --Ashley F.--co-worker in need of car
    --Brenda--continued prayers for my BIL Jim who's been having trouble with his blood pressure during chemo treatments.
